⁸ Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age after a full life; and he was reunited with his ancestors. ⁹ His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, near Mamre. ¹⁰ This was the field that he had bought from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried near his wife Sarah.
